Mad as a Hatter
Randal Crump was the son of cutthroat real estate agent Adison Crump in New England. Unlike following his father’s footsteps, Randal had a keen eye for beauty in fashion. It wasn't until his father found out about his obsession and was kicked out of his house. However Randal began making his way in the world as an apprentice in a dress shop.
As the years went by, Randal grew into a successful milliner with god-like skills. It wasn't when Randal was anointed to assemble the trousseau for Master Gracey’s bride to be. It was here that Randal and Emily would usually meet in the attic to her dress and mend her veil.
It was on the eve of the wedding that Ranal had gotten a last minute sample of hats and veils for the young bride. As he ascended the stairs to the attic, he felt an aura of foreboding doom. Upon reaching the lofty space, a sharp pain ringed around his neck.
It wasn't until Randal’s decapitated body was later buried in the next door cemetery, but his head never recovered. There was no explanation or motivation behind the murder, but one things for sure Randal still haunts the attic searching for his head.
